Stairs

Going upstairs just got a whole lot easier:

We have stairs!!!!

Also the plastering appears to be all finished.

Last to be completed were the master bedroom:

And the entrance hall:

It’s just so darn smooth, touching it is addictive :-$

So now all that’s left for the walls and ceiling is where they need to patch up the recently stair-cut master bedroom wall with a bulkhead:

And then there’s the hole next to the phantom bulkhead that was never created and seemingly never needed in the middle bedroom.

We’ve asked the SS about this one. At plan stage the air-con folk had requested we add a bulkhead here for them to duct through to the theatre and yet they seemed to have managed without it. Hrmmm, we’ll await to see what happens here…

In side news we’ve had to pick a new bath as our original selection has been discontinued. We’re a little bit miffed about this as the one we chose was extra wide and they just don’t have any others with the same dimensions.

Having chosen our new bath we’re now just waiting to hear if our tap selection is still going to fit.

It’s been so long since pre-start, something tells me this isn’t going to be the last re-selection. We’re keeping our fingers crossed!
